You might already have researched this, but apparently there is a street called Raurich in Barcelona.

Vinyals is a more likely spelling in Catalan or Vinals (with the tilde accent ~ on the N) in Castilian.

Rauric is also a village in Tarragona, Cataluna province.  There is a castle with the same name. The "H" ending is the Castilian spelling.

All this from my sis in Barcelona.  If you need any help with translating, give a shout! (We also have a resident Rootschatter in Cataluna)

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Vernal and Vinals in combination on FreeBMD.

Births Mar 1907
Vernal  Evelyn Vinals     Holborn  1b 582
Deaths Sep 1910
Vernal  Evelyn V  3  Lambeth  1d 111

possibles for Vinals as a middle name though the v could just as easily stand for Victoria etc.

Deaths Mar 1911
VERNAL  Isabella V  12  Southwark  1d 15

Births Sep 1913
VERNAL  FRANCES R C V  CRSSFORD  Lambeth  1d 573

No Vinyals or Raurics

Following on from Valda's sterling work- which I'm sure Kurow must be over the moon with.

I have found a child born to the Judd and Vinals couple above.

Cynthia M JUDD born in Romford in Dec 1/4 of 1912 mothers maiden name Vinals.

There may have been more later, but I stopped there for now  ;D

I think it is probably the Theresa Raurich formerly Vinals nee unknown who was aged 36 on the 1871 census and born Catalonia that Kurow is interested in.
From the British records available the starting point for knowing that Theresa's maiden name would be her second marriage

Marriages Sep 1867
Raurich  Salvador     St. Geo. East  1c 888
VINALS  Teresa     St George East  1c 888

This would give her father's name and occupation. To find her first husband's full name and occupation the British record to access would be his son's marriage.

Marriages Mar 1879
CURTIS  Lucy     Islington  1b 233
Vinals  Ramon     Islington  1b 233

This record would give his father's name and occupation.

With the knowledge from these two certificates and the 1871 census you would would know Theresa's approximate date and place of birth circa 1835 in Catalonia and her full name and father's name and her first husband's name and their approximate date of marriage - circa 1852 probably in Catalonia as well, since Ramon was 18 on the 1871 census.

You can send for either or both certificates from the General Registry Office.
