Just to let all of you kind people know that I checked out all your suggestions today but unfortunately without any success. I still have to write a letter to the Royal Archives at Windsor though.

Hi deeiluka,
I just joined the forum as I found this thread via google, whilst researching Robert Hendrie.
I understand your interest shifts chiefly to the period following Hendrie's death, and unfortunately I dont have much to add, I'm afraid.

I do, however, own 2 very rare bottles of Robert Hendrie's perfumes for Her Magesty Queen Victoria. Im hoping perhaps you might have any info pre-dating your ancestral connection with the Hendrie company?
