The more you find out the more it seems it is the Leith Robert Moar, so god knows where Isle of Skye comes into it, I wonder if Samuel was from Isle of Skye and that is where the confusion is in the family... cos me and hubby think the Leith Robert Moar is the right one.. I mean how many Robert FLint Moars can they be, it is an usual name isnt it...

Thank you to you both.... I wish i was as resourceful, maybe one day i will be!

Hilda Moar but not sure of her dob yet.

He married Eliza Taylor who was from Rugley in Staffs in 1908 in Prestwich.

So he was defo in the Manchester area in 1908 but where he was before is a ?

He died in Manchester but not sure what year, I have not been able to find it on the bmd yet.

Do you think I could adopt Robert Flint Moar from leigh as 90%?  given the unusal name?

Awh thank you gadjet...

If it is going to cost you money, dont do any more searches, i feel guilty if it is costing you credits, but i am going to adopt him..lol.. he fits well doesnt he, i think the name is a plus giving it not being "normal" name like smith or jones.....

my kids cannot belive this family history stuff.. they have welsh from my side and scottish from their dad side, with a little staffordshire and lancashire thrown in...

I appreciate all your efforts...
