Hi ya
       So the Gosbee family were farmers then. We knew a lot of them were Shepherd's and Lookers working on Romney marsh. My husband's father worked on the land drainage on the marsh back in the sixties.

naafi girl  are you still researching the Gosbee family from Stone in Oxney, as I have been researching them for quite some time now and we may be able to assist each other. John Jabez Gosbee and Recbecca are buried in the churchyard at Stone-in-Oxney. We have visited many of the local churches and have managed to find out a fair bit in the process. My wife is a desendant of John Jabez Gosbee, being her great great grandfather.

Not sure if you are still doing the Gosbee family tree but have only just found this post after all these years.
I am always looking for their graves and did go to Kent to look for their graves but never found then because most of them were not readable.
My husband is related to them and used to live in Kent.
