yes  the  parents  will  be listed  on  the wedding  certificate  that  is assuming  they  gave  them!
also birthplace ages fatherand mothers names  fathers rank or profession

As Jenn says - definitely worth fighting the disaster that is the Qld registry to buy one. My earliest is 1867 and it has the following headings

It doesn't seem to specify whether the parents of the couple are living as I know one was dead but it wasn't stated on my certificate.
