Wanted - males born 1829-1831 Devon/Sussex/ Lancs
« on: Monday 05 February 07 09:42 GMT (UK) »
I am researching a thesis about young  males who immigrated to London, trying to work out why they came, what they did when they got there and whether they stayed.   As well as searching for typical behaviour, I am trying to find regional differences between those from Sussex, Devon  and Lancashire.

I would very much like to hear from anyone who had a male Sussex-, Devon- or Lancashire-born ancestor born 1829-1831, who lived in London in the period 1851 - 1861.

If you could contact me, I will let you know what information would be useful to me.
I am hoping this research will answer some of the questions family historians have about why their ancestors made large migratory moves.

Many thanks in advance.
