No, I knew it was a long shot.  A cousin of my husband who I discovered through the net, has done quite a bit of research into the family.  She however, had her original stuff lost by a brother, but remembers a certificate sent my another cousin, of Daisy Day, aged 4,, and believes Catherine Matilda McMinn (or Cooke) was the mother.

I will try to track down this fellow researcher.
