Hi,

Couldn't help seeing your message, are you related to the Fitzsimmons who ran The Lamb Pub in Wavertree?   My Dad (Tom Fearon) has been trying to find a Fitzsimmons (Phil I think) who served in the RAF in El Firdan between 1944 and 1948.

Cheers

Jan

On the off-chance....any relation to Patrick Fitzsimons b1837 and m Elizabeth Denvir 1855, Whitehaven, and of whom I can find no trace, other than censii from 1871 describe Elizabeth as widowed, and childless? I think he was a sailor, and was alive, although I don't know where, in 1861, as Elizabeth was not a widow on this census. I have some evidence that he died in 1865, and that he had 2 brothers, one sister.

Many thanks - and apologies if no connection.

I have an Elizabeth Denvir (1855, cleator) in my tree.  Could this be the same Elizabeth??

The parents of my Elizabeth are Patrick and Hannah Denvir.

Sorry - read this wrong.  My Elizabeth was born in 1855.  Not married.
