just a coule of additional thoughts Did you notice that the death of the baby BARON post- dated the death of Sarah Ann by many years. and post- dated Nicholas's by 4 or so It is clearly not her child. It says AND BABY Baron. it could be from a subsequent marriage, from another relative.....many posssiblities. Also Google 'Chillcott family tree' to find another who is interested in the Noble /Vipond connection. He may have something for you. Sue

Hello ladies. Yes I did realise that the BARON baby could not have been Sarah's.
Q.Who is Thomas Burkitt VIPOND? Q.What was Alice VIPONDs 1858-1917 husband's name, she married a BRAWN dated unknown? Any kiddies? Q.Did her brothers Frederick Thomas and John Henry VIPOND get married as they both died in their 70s?
And Sue I did google CHILCOTT etc. and found that great xroyvision site that I had been to before but forgotten the name of. Gosh I was boggling at all that information. Some lucky descendant is going to one day come across that site with the whole family tree posted and they will have a heart attack!
I've been busy seeking Nicholas VIPONDs ancestry in Alston, Cumbria, England. I thought other rootschatters had found his granddad but there are two families with children both named Thomas so it's pretty hard. Thomas was Nicholas' father.
Cheers, Alison.

Dear Genni, thanks for providing that extra bit of info. Really terrific.
I also did a search of the 1891 Women's Suffrage Petition VIC and found three VIPONDs, but don't know how they fit in the tree yet.
Q.Did John Henry VIPOND 1876-1949 remain a bachelor?

Still also puzzling over the BARON family and their connection to the VIPONDs from the MI at Sedgefield Cemetery NSW. Must be a connection somewhere, I'm guessing baby was a most loved grandchild to be.
Search of NSW bdms revealed only the death of the little stillborn baby. Couldn't find a marriage of the parents, or deaths of any other children. Perhaps they were from Victoria also?

Dear Christine, thanks for your answering reply. VIPONTs surely have to be related to VIPONDs. I shall mark this topic as completed with huge thanks to you all.
Kind regards, Alison.
