Hi Viking,

I noticed that you have a KLISKEY in amongst your lot.  When you have time, do visit this website below.  This lady is doing the KLISKEY Family Tree and has lots of connecting names too. ( I have just started my KLISKEY research so will no doubt be posting re this surname, soon).

Maybe worth going to have a look?

Hi Viking,
I am currently researching the Pollard family history.
William Henry Pollard and Mary Ann Carmichael were my great grandparents.
I am now researching back in Redruth and Constantine, Cornwall for confirmation of birth and marriage dates for William Pollard and Caroline George.  I have been given dates but cannot locate any records.
I have a family web site at myheritage.com called The Biller Tree Website if you would like to check it out for further details you are welcome to request membership.  I have dates going further back but need documents for confirmation to make sure I am on the right track.
Please let me know if you have any further information.
Regards,
Janne

Hi Janne,

William Pollard was born in Redruth Cornwall 14th July 1819. He was my 2nd G Grandfather, his wife Caroline George was born 20th Oct 1823,also in Cornwall, I think. They were married on 3rd Feb 1844 in Redruth.
Their first son was also born in Redruth Cornwall, William Henry Pollard b. 21st March 1847. (my G Grandfather). They emigrated to South Australia where the rest of their children were born.
William Richard Carmichael also my 2nd G Grandfather, was born in Ireland, I think. He came out to South Australia. He married Mary Ann Howard Holland 28th May 1856. He was a Surgeon and died in Freeling S.A. 18th Nov 1873. There were a few families of Pollard that came out at the same time and settled in the Barossa Valley S.A.
Hope this helps.....

cheers,
