Hi Mehjer,
I live in Camborne in Cornwall, my late father had an Uncle Jack (John) and Aunt Violet Kliskey who moved to Bristol.  I believe that your great great grandfather was a chandler in Newlyn or Mousehole supplying the fishing fleet while the Kliskeys were fishermen originally from Poland or possibly East Germany who settled in Mousehole in the seventeenth century.  I think one of your cousins tracked the family tree a long time ago.
I think this makes us second cousins, so I am pleased to make your acquaintance!

Hello Mehjer, my grans name on my Mothers side was Kliskey. Her father was Richard Cotton Klisky who married a Clara Hutchens. I've just started trying to trace my ancestry, just wondered if I'm on the right track by contacting you. Yours J.James.
