Frederick John Wale - Texas

Frederick John Wale arrived in New Orleans from England in 1883 with his wife Mary and children Louisa and George. In 1884 Frederick was killed in a shooting accident in Texas - possibly Bexar, as this is where his wife remarried on 9/12/1887 to a Harry Williams. I am looking for the date of death and any information - if possible surrounding this accident. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I am in England, so my research capabilities are a bit restricted.
