Please Help! What next? Going Crazy!

I wonder if anyone with more experience might offer some advice? I have been searching for a birth from Emma Sophia Gibson in 1863/64 in Islington.
I have not been able to find a birth...and have tried thinking of spelling variations...can only think of Gibbons and that was fruitless too.

This is what I have

On her marriage certificate her father is listed as George Gibson

I have found her as a married adult on the 1901 census (as Emma Shrubsole)...her birthplace is given as Islington.

 I have found an Emma Gibson aged 7 on the 1871 census with a birthplace Islington living with grandfather George Gibson

I have found an Emma Gibson aged 17 on the 1881 cenus with a birthplace Ilsington

I just can't find a birth and don't really know what to do next. I have requested earlier census lookup for George but have not had a reply yet.

Any suggestions very welcome

Found this Pancras not to far from Islington  -I think - I'm a Northerner!!

Hi robyn!

Just a thought could she have been christened Sophie Gibson, with a second name as Emma?

There is a Sophia Gibson on the 1881 Census, same age as Emma Gibson (Servant).  Sophia is living with her parents on this one.

George Gibson  birth abt 1834 Bermondsey Surrey
Rebecca Gibson wife - birth abt 1835 Whitechapel, Middx.
Robert Gibson birth abt 1862 St. Lukes Middlesex.
Sophia Gibson birth abt 1864 Hackney, Middlesex.

Residence : Shoreditch. 

It might fit in with your family, and might explain why you cant find her, if she was baptised Sophia.
