1841 Census - 6 brothers KING - Wortham

Hi All   

I am looking for six males, brothers, all born Wortham circa 1800 as I am trying to determine which immigrated to North America and which stayed behind in Suffolk!  Obviously those found on the 1841 stayed behind!    And of course there is the possibility that some died along the way to 1841 as well?

Anybody up for the challenge?   Now, at this point in my research I have no idea who they might have married so I am just hoping that they will be found in Wortham and the name and age match??  It is a starting point!

So, none on the King Family boys still living in Wortham in 1841 other than Dad and Mom, but you found 2 of the brothers it seems in Sussex and 1 in Norfolk!

I guess the family moved regardless of coming to NA!

I have just taken a look at the 1851 LUV and I think the wife may have given Rustington as her place of birth.

She is listed as a Dressmaker - the enumerator writing long S then short S

Similarly the place name is written Russington - long S followed by a short S

I have fond memories of that Sussex coast from childhood holidays
