Please can you help me decipher this?

I'm assuming that George Pearce is 'Head'.  What are the relationships of Ann Pearce and George (Dowse?)?  Is George Pearce a widower?

Any ideas?

Here is the reference: RG9 Piece 1308 Folio 66 Page 17

Oh yes, I didn't think of 'Boarder' - when I saw the age, I was thinking of relatives, nephew, etc.

Thanks for your interest  :)

I think Ann Pearce could be Married but I'm not sure about that one, not sure if it makes sense.

Yep I think Ann Pearce says 'Married' the enumerator has put it in the wrong column
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex

Hi all - yes, I see it now, the married in the wrong column, so it turns out to be a fairly traditional husband/wife setup, not as complicated as I thought!  :P

The year is 1861, I did a search on Mary Pearce, b 1854 County of birth: Wiltshire

Thanks everyone

The writing is abysmal.

What are the birthplaces of these people?

The IGI has the following baptisms of children to a George PEARCE & Ann in Milton Lilbourne, Wiltshire:
Mary 1853
William 1855
Jannet 1858
Sarah Ann 1860
And also (after the date of this census) -
James 1862
Thomas 1864
Thomas 1870
