Hello

Is it possible for any one to look up a birth registration of Thomas Evans born either 1842 or 1843 in Llechryd.  His fathers name was John and mothers name Anne. I have looked at the GRO Registers and there were several Thomas Evans born in that period in Cardigan and to apply for a certificate I need to know the correct date and page number.  Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried applying to Cardigan Register Office directly, with a covering letter giving all the details you have.

I've found them very helpful - as long as you enclose a sae!

Hello

I have received a birth certificate this morning for a Thomas Evans but unfortunatley it is not the one I am looking for.  I did put Fathers name as John and Mothers name Ann on the form and also the fact that he was from Llechryd but the one I have received is for Thomas Evans from Capel  Pains....? Cardigan  mothers name Elizabeth formerly Edwards.   Is there any one out there who would like to have this certificate.
