Is anyone researching this name ?

I descend from Obadiah and Faith Boot nee Brett born 1806 in Edwinstowe.  The register gives her parents as Dennis and Elizabeth Brett but I believe from other evidence that in fact her mother's name was Dorothy nee Ward, married at Bilsthorpe and stated to be of Rufford.

In 1851 there several Brett's listed as having been born in Edwinstowe who do not appear in the registers ............

Dennis born c1777
John born c 1811
William born c1801 ......... married to Maria
William born c1801 ......... married to Ann

A William was baptized to David and Elizabeth in 1800, but only one.

Can anyone suggest where these baptisms may have taken place ?  IGI and Notts. RO are of no help.

Thankyou, I have recently found a book with John Brett's signature given to his niece Mary Boot my 2nd great grandmother in the 1830's
