Thorn's of County Tyrone

Hi does anyone have any info on this family from County Tryone I know that they appeared on the English census for 1881 and 1891 but looking for other info.
The family consisted of William Thorn born c 1834 co Tyrone
Agnes Matilda nee Taggart born 22/05/1844 in Barbados
Arthur E Thorn c 1864 in Barbados
Marion M Thorn born c1866  in Aldershot, Surrey.
Helena Elizabeth Thorn born 18/10/1867 in Co Tyrone
Sophia Louisa born 07/01/1870 in Co Tyrone
Edward Thorn born 20/05/1873 in Co Tyrone
Whilhemina born 9/05/1874 in Co Tyrone
Emma W Thorn born c 1875 in co Tyrone
Clara Eudora Thorn born 04/06/1876 in Co Tyrone
Edith Hope Thorn born Oct-Dec 1878 Bradfield died Jan-Mar 1882 aged 3  Reading.

Hello genewizard,

Have you posted on the Armed Forces board as Aldershot and Barbados are pointing towards a military connection.

What denomination were the Taggart and Thorn families?

You'll probably have to look at church records as the first Civil registrations in Ireland were non Catholic marriages introduced in 1845. Civil registration for all other marriages as well as births and deaths was not introduced in Ireland until 1864.
