Stoppard family wirksworth

I am tracing the Stoppard family at Wirksworth , any one els have any info, main name for 1848 AAron Stoppard married Annie Pinson,

Should be lots of relatives as he was one of 17 children

Have checked the Wirksworth link it is brilliant
Aaron was a Bull castrator  and they were all into farming, he sired 21 children  but only 17 were born and 15 lived. Good job they lived on a farm, obviously food  was not a problem. I have traced lots of them but still go on hoping I will find out more

Not sure is this is what you are looking for but:-

Henry Stoppard , born Wirksworth, lived Alfreton, was killed in action WW1 12/10/16 no known grave, Thiepval Memorial, no next of kin.

At  that time he was # number 37166 Lancashire Fuslieers formerly # number 24750 North Staffs Regt

Thanks for that Mr B,  do not know whether this is mine or not , I have a william Henry killed in action 24 6 1918 my grandads brother
another one to investigate
