Thought you might like to see my small but very treasured memorabilia.....

This was given to my grandad while he was out in Salonika, for helping a chap on the battle field.

What a lovely and unusual piece of memorabilia..a genuine one off.
McBride (Monaghan, Manchester), Derbyshire (Bollington,Cheshire), Knight (Newcastle,Staffs), Smith (Chorley, Lancs & Ireland), Tipladay (Manchester & Yorkshire) ,Steadman (Madeley,Shropshire), Steele (Manchester,Glasgow), Parkinson (Wigan, Lancashire), Lovatt, Cornes & Turner (Staffs) Stott (Oldham, Lancs). All ended up Ardwick, Manchester

Thank you, I was only 6yrs when g/dad died and I had so many questions to ask him, this one was to the fore, I just really wanted to know what happen on the battle field for someone to give this to him.
