Sussex and Kent army encampments
« on: Wednesday 09 May 07 22:29 BST (UK) »
Has anyone's research into an ancestor's WW1 Army career led them to mainland service in S E England?

I would be grateful for any information on the names/locations of any Army encampments/PoW camps in East Sussex or West Kent in 1918 and early 1919, and the names of the Regiments or Units assigned to them?

I believe that there may have been some sort of camp in the Rye, Hastings area.
