Hi Steve,

From a index only source;
1861 census.
Cow Wood, Wellington.
Beriah MORRIS, 29, Forgeman.
Louisa MORRIS, 25.
William MORRIS, 3.
James MORRIS, 11 months.

On the 1851 census at Old Park, Dawley.

William MORRIS, Head, 50, Engine driver.
Mary Ann MORRIS, Wife, 48.
Thomas MORRIS, Son, 22, Forge Puddler.
Emma MORRIS, Dau, 21, Coal ..?
Beriah MORRIS, Son, 19, Forge Puddler.
Henry MORRIS, Son, 15, Forge Puddler.
Sarah Ann MORRIS, Dau, 13.
William MORRIS, Son, 12, Scholar.
Mathew MORRIS, Son, 8, Scholar.
Jane, Dau, 5.

All shown as born in Old Park.

On the 1841 census I believe you will find the family in Malinslee.

Beriah MORRIS was christened at Dawley Magna on 21 March 1832. Parents William & Mary.

Hope it helps.
Gwynne.

hi gwynne
very many thanks for your kind help.this information fills
a number of gaps in my family tree.my great great grandfather has been so hard to trace, which is surprising
as beriah is such an unusual name.
is malinslee in the same general area?
thanks again
