Sarah Johnson b1858, I know for definite that her father was John (marriage cert) also has him as a boatman.  Interesting that you have an Ambrose Johnson, unusual name and in fact one of Sarah's children was called Ambrose.
I haven't ever managed to get Sarah's birth certificate (too many) to get proof of her actual birth date or her mother who I believe to be Sarah Peake.
