Have you any idea of location for any of these people? I have a copy of the 1851 Shropshire census but it isn't indexed, so without a place to strat from it's a bit difficult to say the least!

sorry about that, the closest i can get is in 1881 they were in newtown wellington, please dont worry if it to large, my son asked what i want for xmas i said shrop 1851, just found out today at archives all my davies originate from shropshire, too many for look-ups i feel very cheeky.

Hi Jackie

It's useful having the disks, even if you do have to trawl through them manually. I did this with Wiltshire where all my lot are and found lots I'd never have found via an index.

I don't know where you're ordering it from, but mine came from Gordon Beavington and it's very good (and cheaper than most!)
