stafford man in scottish regiment
« on: Tuesday 12 June 07 16:08 BST (UK) »
does anyone have any information on a cyril peter ferrie from stafford he joined up with a scottish regt and during the war was  in burma. I   have been told that he gave a false age  and that he was a P.T. instructor. I know this is a bit vague but it is  my wife"s father and that is all she was told.

 :) Hi Wozzle

Presumably he was not killed in WW2.   However, if it is your wife's father, you hopefully should be able to get his service records here, where you can download a SAR form:

thank you atom12;
I did go to that link but due to extenuating circumstances I'm afraid that avenue is a dead end
