Walking on Air
« on: Wednesday 08 December 04 23:06 GMT (UK) »
I am walking on air today because having just acquired the 1861 Cheshire Census, I have finally put to bed a doubt I had about the birth place of my Grt Grt Grandad.  I had traced his birth to Lymm in Cheshire, discovered his siblings births and his parents.  Followed the line right back to 1629 Great Budworth, then got the 1851 census that said he was born Dunham Massey.  I was thrown into a quandry then, and thought I had made a terrible mistake and wasted a lot of time researching the wrong branch of the family.  BUT the 1861 has verified that I was right all along .... oooh! I'm so excited I could crush a grape.... Hubby can't understand why I am leaping around with a big silly grin on my face.  But you all will understand why, that's why I wanted to share it with you.

It's a great feeling when you finally get that breakthrough.
Think I get almost as much satisfaction when I can help someone else!
