There's also a William MADDOX buried at Ridgmont in 1849 aged 40.  I've looked on the IGI and there's a William son of Edward and Mary bap 5 Mar 1809 at Aspley Guise.

From Ridgmont PRs up to 1812.

The only Allen baptisms are the two we already know about, John & James, sons of William & Sarah, plus a Thomas son of Thomas & Sarah Allen on 26 Mar 1797.

Only marriage is the one mentioned before, that of John Allen to Jane Bates who was from Marston

Burial on 9 Feb 1796 was as expected John son of William & Sarah Allen.

Also I checked the marriage of William Allen to Sarah Coles at Marston Moreteyne, it does not say when either came from so assume MM.
