Brighton Cemetery with not only a searchable data base but stories of the interned. This site gave me the "breakthru" I needed for my brickwall and invaluable information about my Booth and Holloway family. If that wasn't enough, I managed to contact a long lost relative on my Holloway side. "Samuel's Story" (Samuel Holloway) is the sad story of my G G Grandmothers young brother who died at the age of 11.

Handy if you are looking for history of hotel names, hotel owners or licencees.  Link to the Cole/Tatlow Index of Hotel Records at the State Library of Victoria.

I just travelled to Ballarat, Victoria to have a look at their cemetery.

At the front gate of the Old Cemetery, there is now a computer which you can type the names that you are looking for and it tells you exactly where the graves are and also shows you on a map. It can be used to search both the Old, New and Cematorium records.

Absolutely fantastic - saved us walking around for ages!!!
Ireland - McMullen/McMullin, Noonan, McNamara, Moore, Ogle,
Grenada to SA and Vic - Hain, Hains, Haines (Victoria)
Redman (Sussex to Victoria, Australia)
Dalgleish (Scotland and then onto Victoria, Australia)
Palmer (?? to Sth Aust to Victoria)
