Info: Tank Corps War Diaries available
« on: Wednesday 27 June 07 23:05 BST (UK) »
At the risk of teaching grandmothers to suck eggs, I discovered recently that the Tank Museum at Bovington has transcribed all the tank corps war diaries and battalion histories, plus personal accounts and tank "packs".  You can get a list of the available documents by automatic reply e-mail from the website, and the documents can be searched for names by e-mail request. Copies are reasonably priced - I got both the 10th battalion War Diary and History for WW1 for £10. Saves going there or to Kew yourself.
