Just taken another look and agree with you on Pryce.
Also checked 1851 and there is a Price Weaver mason & innkeeper in the area.

Have you tried the tithe maps and schedules of the area - most were take around early 1840's
I managed to find my relatives farm and the details of all the land he owned around it.
Copies may be held in the local reference library or county record office
Jones, Davies, Evans, Williams, Daniel, Thomas - Glamorgan
Keen, Goodwin, Pyatt, Leese, Bailey, Loffill, Stubley, Brassington, Blurton,  - Staffs

Sorry to resurrect a 10 year old thread but wondered if Pigginnut had made any more progress with identifying the farms and where Thomas Weaver had acquired them.

I only ask as I'm a distant relative and had got stuck around this point.

 I read the will as follows (first section only):

The Last Will and Testament

of Thomas Weaver Senior of the Piggin Tavern in the parish of

Montgomery in the County of Montgomery  mason made this twenty eighth

day of October in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty six

I Thomas Weaver do give and bequeath to my wife Mary Weaver a farm

called The Bottom Farm situate in the parish of Tref-Eglwys in the hundred

of Llanidloes in the County of Montgomery and also another farm called

the Wain situate in the same parish of Tref-Eglwys and County of Montgomery

both which she is to have and receive all rents and profits arising therefrom

and to apply the same for her sole use and benefit at my bequest and during

her life and  I also bequest?  that at..........
