Thanks Deb.The witnesses at the Harry/Thomas marriage 1800 St Kew were John Beer and William Thomas,so I think we are coming to the correct conclusion.
My earliest Harry family were living in the vacinity of St Kew.However at the end of the 1700s my line appears to have moved to St Stephen in Brannel.Some branches must have remained St Breock etc.

Hi there, Debbie Harry from Australia.  I'm looking for relatives who are connected to Captain Richard "Dick" Harry from St Ives born 1804 died 1.10.1890 married Agnes Lang 1831 who was my GGG Grandfather.  If anyone has any connections or history I would be interested to hear.  Regards Debbie

Hi Rex, I have great grandparents Richard Harry born 1832 married Mary Ann Humphries Hicks.  From what my grandmother told me the Harry's tradition was the first boy born to the eldest son would be named Richard.  This could be why there are so many of them around the same age
