can some one please tell me were westerhouses are in roxburgh i think it was a farm in 1841, but not sure.

Gilbert,
It still is a farm. I lived there when I was a kid back in the 1960's. My father was shepherd there from about 1962 to 1966.
The farmer at the time was Mr Roly? Harker. He was a keen foxhunter and Master of the Jedforest Hunt.
