Birth - Marr- Deaths...leftovers
« on: Sunday 08 July 07 03:17 BST (UK) »
I am wondering where the best place to post "leftovers  ???
Often when we get a cert, there is one,may two other entries also listed.
Such a shame to just let it sit in our hands,so my questions is..how do where and how do we share this "leftover" info for others to view.
I must be a real Scots,...I hate waste..

Hi ajjc

Know what you mean. I'd suggest on boards for relevant county as folks more likely to go there first if posting a query. But also maybe one on Common Room that tells folkjs to look at relevant county board in case they miss it would be best advice I can give.

Cheers

Ann

The Scotland BDM Exchange is a very good place to post such information - and to look up information.

It works very much in the way you suggest, Ann.  That is, one submits bare details and provides one's email address so that anyone who is interested can email and ask for further details.

I've submitted heaps there - but haven't had many requests (i.e. it's not burdensome).

And it is very easy to submit entries as one does so on an Excel sheet.

The URL is:
