The Lewin Letters
« on: Wednesday 11 July 07 17:46 BST (UK) »
I have recently bought a  copy of the books called "The Lewin Letters."  They relate to the Lewin family which was based in the Eltham area of Kent from about 1800 but spread to London, Devon, Hampshire and Sussex.
Many members of the family were in the East India Company.
I am happy to do look ups.
Joy, Larkin, Twort, Baker, Whibley - Brenchley and Horsmonden area Kent
Fewell and Speller - Essex and London
Headington and Bateman - London
Feltwell - Norfolk and London
Lewin - India and NZ
Evan-Thomas - Wales and London
Purser and Cook - Hunts
