JONES, Edward Bowen 1851,1861,1871
« on: Sunday 15 July 07 07:39 BST (UK) »
This is called desperation!

I found a death for Edward Bowen JONES b 1810 of Lammas St Carmarthen in 1879 and I think there is a link to my Evan JONES who lived at Cambrian House, Lammas st, CMN.

Edward married Ann NICHOLS in St Peters 1833. They had at least one son, Richard Edward b 1844 - he died aged 21 in 1865.

Many thanks for any help!

Kind regards
Kiwi

hello Tati!

You did good! Thanks so much...I don't suppose you could try 1841 for me since wife Ann obviously died young and probably in childbirth????

many thanks again

Thanks so much Tati! You are a gem - I do keep saying that don't I!!

It seems Charles William JONES b 1836 may have survived...if I found the right boy, he married Ann HUZZEY in 1867 but she is not with him in 1881...so....I wonder if I could bother you to see if he shows up in 1871 - he was at  10 Picton Terrace 1881 ( ex mayor!) and 1891

Many thanks again!

That's curious - the same Charles is married (no wife present) on the 1881,1891 and 1901 censuses - same address for all.  The same pair of servants are with him on all censuses.

Wonder what happened to Frances?

 ???

p.s. Tati you must be refreshed after your holiday - tackling JONES in Wales?!?  ;D ;D
