I suspect the number changed when Stockport Corporation "became" Greater Manchester Passenger Transport.

If it is the same Earl street i think you are looking for it is near the Daisy mill. If you find an old map (pre 1960 as Earl street was demolished in the 60`s) it was located where Cochrane Avenue currently is (between South street and New bank street). I am trying to find info on my Gt.grandfathers house he lived at 104 Earl Street in 1911.
