Hi Dawn

Not sure if you have these marriages, as found on FreeBMD:

i) John EVERTON and Elizabeth WALFORD married MAR quarter 1851, registration district Martley, Worcs.

ii) Joseph EVERTON and Sarah Steadman married DEC quarter 1892, registration district Dudley (Dudley on the boundaries of Worcs and Staffs).

Hope this helps a little

regards, Graham

Hello up on searching my own relatives it would appear that your said Sarah steadman is within my own family tree albeit some way in the past and also my grandmother and my own father did infact live in church street Dudley at number 32 up until the 1940s
My grandad died in the First World War and is buried in etaples milatary cemetary france
It would appear Sarah Ann steadman is the daughter of another Sarah ann and seams to work out to be the sister of my great great grandfather Mathew steadman
I obviously did not know any of these people but if you trace Sarah Ann then follow her brother Mathew on to his son john then his youngest son harry he is my dad
Hope you find this interesting
Oh I still live in Dudley less than 2 miles from church street (there have not been houses there in my lifetime 👍 From philip steadman age 52

Hi
Not sure what you are after
John and Elizabeth Everton's children baptised at St Thomas Dudley
Sarah Jane 5.Apr 1863 born 22nd March
Maria bapt 5.3.1865 born 26.1.1865
Martha 20 2.1867 bapt 1.5.1867 buried 19.7.1869
Joseph 27.6.1869 born 12th June 1869

John Everton died 29.101.904 at 33 Church St Dudley (born 1823).His Will was proven at London for £192 14 6 exec William Roberts Grigg contractor.

The 1871 census says he is born c 1823 at Leominster Herefordshire  and a wheelwright, wife Elizabeth born 1828 Dudley  as you know.

In 1851 it looks like he was at Brook House Colliery Tipton
John Mobbs 46 waggoner  Boddington Northants
Ann wife 55 Banbury
Thomas 22 iron moulder Banbury
lodger John Everton s 28 wheelwright St Johns Worcestershire

Yet strangely that marriage to Elizabeth Walford was at Hallow 3.3.1851.

ps just tried the new GRO site with mother's maiden names and the youngest 3 children on the 1871 census and  mother is given as Beddall
If so Elizabeth Beddall is lodging 1851 in Bond St Dudley age 21
