Hi there

I need some help with the 1841 census
Im looking for a 'William pilch' born in hempton in the mid 1820's although there is another William born around a similar time!
Williams father is a Robert Pilch and his mother a mary i believe.  Im looking for any information, (on either Williams as im trying to distinguish which is the right 'William'). ie age on census (if there) address and names in household etc.... this would be a great help to me,  i hope this makes sense!

Hi Penninah

This is a tricky one as Hempton is extremely hard to read many pages impossible.  That said I have found what could posibly be one of your williams.
The record as follows is how I read it

Robert Pilch  (surname is quite hard to read but I am confident it says pilch) his age is unclear to but it could possibly be 74
Amelia (again its iffy)  age unclear but looks like 20
Robert age 20
William age 15
Thomas age 13
Male age 10
Elizabeth  ? age 8
Male age 4
John age 3
They are all Norfolk born but no actual address is given

I am afraid if the other one is there he is on an illegible page.
