Caroline Corker April 1877
« on: Sunday 22 July 07 06:25 BST (UK) »
Caroline was the daughter of Elizabeth Corker, she was born in Kilrea, Elizabeth headed off to New Zealand.
Caroline was still in Ireland in 1903 as she was informant at death of her Uncle Alexander Wilson Corker a school teacher at Upperlands Maghera.
Would really like to learn what became of her.
The Corkers spread out from Kilrea, to Canada, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

Elizabeth Corker born 4 Apr.1877 Kilrea district, mother- Elizabeth Corker, according to IGI. Doesn't seem to be on Ulster Covenant website although name may be mis-transcribed.
I have notes of a Hugh Corker (c1802/1805-1886) m.(1833) Martha "Matty" Wright (1815?-1903) & went to Canada with their family but have not tried to research Corkers in Kilrea area, although it is a fairly uncommon surname there so quite possibly related to Elizabeth & Caroline Corker.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
