if going back further than Joseph and Janet is a "brick wall" that others have come up against, then I am not sure what to hope for! I am still trying to find out more about James Kerr Jardine and his wife Elizabeth (Hennessey) and their movements between New Brunswick, Massachussetts and British Columbia in the 1870s-1890s.

Have nothing on Janet's linage other than her father's death as noted on the gravestone.
