Here is the family history I have on Joseph George Jardine (1767-1849)
Born:     1767, Thundergarth Parish (Ecclefechan), Dumfriesshire, Scotland
Occupation:  Weaver, Carrier
Married:  November 16, 1792 - Janet Kerr in Tundergarth Parish, Dumfriesshire
Died:     June 23, 1849, Napan, New Brunswick, Canada
Joseph resided in Thundergarth parish when his first children were born.  In 1810, the birth records for Dryfesdale parish suggest he was living at Ecclefechen, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.  Joseph, wife and family went to Canada in 1824.   Their son Thomas Jardine born 1800 in Tundergarth, didn't go. Joseph received a grant of land on the North side of the Napan River on February 20, 1827.  (NB Courier, June 30, 1849).  New Brunswick, Canada
