Trying to find traces of McOnegal possibly in northern ireland who moved to england early 1880,s .Connected to railway type employment.

I think somewhere along the line there is an incorrect spelling.
The spellings McGonigal, McGonagle and McGonigle are still found in the north of Ireland

Dont know if this is of any help but my aunt had neighbours called McGonagle.

She is living in Beleek, Co. Fermanagh.  Dont know if there are any left now. I remember only one lady and she was elderly.
