BOISSON in London in 1851 and 1861
« on: Friday 10 August 07 08:47 BST (UK) »
Hi

I'm trying to find the parents and siblings of Frederick James BOISSON who was born in London in 1850.  I'm hoping that the 1851 and 1861 Censuses might have their details.

I would be very pleased to solve this mystery.  The surname is clearly French in origin, possibly Huguenot.

Regards,

Robin

Hi Tati

Thanks again for all the extra information!

You make it look easy but I'm sure that it isn't.

Thanks so much,

Well, I'm struggling with the 1841 census for James but this looks like the Andrew(e)s family:

HO107/705/1 46 17
St Leonard Shoreditch
Weymouth Terrace

James Andrewes, 60, Invalid?, no
Jane, 50, Laundress, no
Elizabeth, 20
Maria, 20
Rebecca, 20
James, 15
Helen, 15

(ages were rounded down to the nearest 5)
