I have only just read about your research into the Davis Family.  I am the grandaughter of William Ernest Davis, brother of your paternal grandfather Harry Walter Davis.

I have a lot of information on the Davis Family, via my mother Joan Davis.  I remember her mentioning a Leighton Davis.  I have a photograph of Molly Davis, a postcard written by Harry Davis and one written by Newton Davis.

Hi I know this is an old post but I have a lovely picture of Newton Davis in Ilfracomb on holiday with my grandfather in 1925. My grandfather was Harry Alan Shephard of Newport/ Risca. It's a great photo in good condition so if anyone is interested I will find a way of copying it and posting on the site. The other name on the back of the photo is : Trevor Snowdon of Talbot Inn Newport.

my Grandfather was Newton Davis Stonemason in Risca Road Newport!
My Mother is Jones nee Davis and is the daughter of Harry Newton Davis and Doris White.
Leighton Davis was my mother's Cousin.
I am Tim Jones currently living in Austria.
