Timaru Cemetery
« on: Sunday 19 August 07 08:12 BST (UK) »
Just arrived is an update to the Timaru District Council cemetery search, photos of the gravestones. Just do a normal search on their cemetery database then click on the camera icon and it takes you straight to a photo. Great for getting that extra info such as parents names, siblings and children although sometimes the flowers get in the way as I found on one of my lookups. Covers not just Timaru but other South Canterbury cemeteries .
Just go to www.timaru.govt.nz

Thanks for the updated link. The photographs are fantastic. Had looked at the site before and thought there might be a mysterious missing relative in Timaru Cemetery but the photograph of the grave eliminated one possibilty although I still wondering if I haven't found the parents. Thanks again
