Corns

Hi, I do have John Corns baptised 22 April 1728 in Wombourne in my tree. He is my 6th great uncle. I have no marriage or children for him though. I see in my notes some online trees have him married to Mary Bantoft, although as this marriage took place in Westminster and the grooms name was John Corrance of Martlesham Suffolk I remain unconvinced, for the moment  There seems to be a large Corrance family in Suffolk.

Thanks for your reply, I agree with you that I don't think John ch.1728 in Wombourne would suddenly become John Corrance of Suffolk, marrying in Westminster.

I'm working on the basis that my John, 5 x great grandfather, who married Mary (I can't find this marriage) and their children christened in Penn which is a couple of miles from Wombourne. Also the names of the children follow names from earlier generations eg Rachel, after John's mother? Plus Ann, Richard, Esther, Hannah all being names from that line before.
