Im looking for the birth of my grandfathers wife JEANETTE Millon (milton Milson)
My Grandfathers name was Charles Stevens b 1864 southwark, Jeanette (jeanetta in 1901 census) was born 1864 in Islington. the 1891 census shows her living ton Islington with 2 of their children with her unmarried sister Jane Millon ( may be Milson or Milton). I have searched under all three of the names but cannot find a birth for Jeanette ( she was also known as Jemima)

If anyone can point me in the right direction or have any information it would be greatly received

When and where was the sister Jane born?

There is a possible 1881 census entry, father 'Benjerman' Milton, mother Anna, daughter Jemima aged 17, another daughter Jane aged 7, everyone listed as born 'Middlesex'.  They are living in Islington.  In 1871 the daughter is still Jemima, aged 7, born Islington.  There is a birth for Jemima Milton in Islington in 1864.

I think you will need to find the marriage of Charles and Jemima/Jeanette to confirm the connection.

On checking the 1891 census for Jeanette Stevens & her children, I see that she is shown as a widow, & the youngest child, William is 2 years old.    Searching the complete BMD entries for a death for Charles Stevens, I found this is the only one that fits the time scale of 1887 to June ¼ 1891.

I have a CHARLES AMBROSE STEVENS IN MY TREE .. his daughter Susannah married a relative in 1912 islington.

The GRO gives Jemima the mmn of Spiller, there is a marriage for a Benjamin William Milton to Anne Spillers 1860 in Shoreditch.

This is the same Benjamin and Anne that has Jemima as a daughter in the 1871 and 1881 census.
