DOYLESTOWN Elizabeth B. "Lillian" Shisler Files, 87, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, at her home.
She was born Jan. 15, 1918, in Glasgow, Scotland, to Harold and Mary (Douglas) Hobster.
She was a resident of Doylestown for 54 years and a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a member of the Daughters of Scotia.
She retired from Central Trust.
She was preceded in death by first husband, Eldo R. Shisler, and second husband, Clyde W. Files, and a brother, Douglas Hobster.
She is survived by sons, (*) of Doylestown, (*)of Morgan, Utah, (*) of Doylestown; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepsons, (*) of Norton, (*) of Wadsworth, (*) of Florida; stepdaughters, (*) of Wadsworth, (*) of Martinsburg, W.Va., and (*) of Doylestown; brothers and sisters-in-law, (*).
The family would like to extend a special thanks for the special care provided by Asera Care Hospice of Akron.
Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Anthony L. Dusso officiating. Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
