Thanks for that information, I am speechless,
This has been one weekend I started with a letter in a local newspaper here in Scotland, to find if there were descendants of Francis Douglas and Agnes McKirdy who were my grandmothers aunt and uncle, never in my wildest dreams did i expect to hear from there 82 year old daughter, who's parents were in there 30's when they married,  I knew one of the Douglas's married and went to US,
and that her married name was Hobster, my new found 1st cousin 2Ce removed confirmed this and told me when the children Harold and Lillian died, approximately
I thought i was bowled over on Saturday when I spoke to Mary (Myra) Douglas on Saturday,
but you guess have just amazed me and so much info to
Thank you so very much,
Sybil
Genealisa glad you liked the cat he is rather popular ;)

Hello there!
I just joined Rootschat because I saw this thread. My grandfather is Harold Hobster Jr. I have been trying to find more information about his mother and father, Mary Douglas and Harold Hobster Sr. My knowledge of our family line ends there! I would love to know names of people I can put in my family tree and names of living relatives I might try to reach out to. (If that's not too obtrusive anyway!)
