There are three possible baptism for Thomas Gibson in Earsdon

Thomas Gibson baptised 26 July 1835 s/o Thomas and Jane
Thomas Gibson bapt 20 June 1836 s/o Cuthbert and Jane
Thomas Gibson bapt 2 Aug 1836 s/o Samuel and Mary

If you have Thomas' marriage certificate this should eliminate 2 of the baptisms here.

IF you are pretty sure the Thomas and Jane are the parents there are 3 Thomas/Jane marriages in Northumberland.  One was in Alnwick which seems a little far away.

There is a marriage in Wallsend 12 Sept 1825 fo Thomas Gibson and Jane Elizabeth Hope
Tynemouth:  Thomas Gibson and Jane Dawson  16 Jan 1826

I'm hoping that Sue has taken her information from the 1881 returns?

If this is the case the Thomas I found is the only one whose 1835 birth is consistantly stated as in Seghill according to the census years.
